Connect your ASIC miner to BTPool using the Stratum protocol, configure a worker, verify submitted shares, and monitor your hashrate from the BTPool dashboard.

What is a Worker?

A worker is the identity of an individual mining device inside your BTPool account. Give every ASIC a clear worker name so you can identify hashrate, rejected shares and connection status separately.

How to Connect Your ASIC Miner

Prepare your miner

Connect the ASIC to power and Ethernet. Make sure it has a stable network connection and that you can open its local web interface from a computer on the same network.

Open Pool / Miner Configuration

Depending on the manufacturer, the menu can be called Miner Configuration, Pool, Mining Settings or CGMiner Configuration.

Enter the BTPool Stratum URL

Copy the current BTPool BTC Stratum endpoint exactly, including the protocol and port. The pool address is a mining-server endpoint, not a Bitcoin wallet address.

Set your Worker name

Use your BTPool account identifier followed by a unique worker label, for example account.worker01. Keep the same worker identity in the primary and backup pool entries for one device.

Save and Apply

Save the pool configuration and allow the miner to reconnect. Some firmware may restart the mining process after applying the settings.

Verify accepted shares

After the miner runs for a while, check the BTPool Workers page. A working device should begin submitting shares and its hashrate should appear in the dashboard.

Monitoring Your Miner

Use the Workers page to review each device separately. The dashboard can be used for overall hashrate, while Earnings provides a separate view of pool income. Keeping one worker ID per machine makes troubleshooting and performance tracking easier.

If the Worker Is Offline

Check the miner's network connection, confirm the pool hostname and port, verify the worker spelling, and review the miner's local status page for connection errors. If the miner connects but submits invalid shares, review the algorithm, firmware settings and pool configuration.

Why Use Multiple Pool Entries?

Many ASIC interfaces support several pool slots. A primary and backup endpoint can allow the device to reconnect to another configured endpoint when the first connection is unavailable.

Security Notes

Never publish your miner administrator password or BTPool account credentials. Use a unique worker label for each device, and only copy pool connection details from the official BTPool configuration page.

Pool endpoints, ports, supported payout methods and connection requirements can change. The values shown above are configuration templates where the live BTPool endpoint has not been provided. Before connecting a production miner, publish the exact current BTPool BTC Stratum hostname and ports here and use those official values.
